On the territory of the DPR, artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly fired at power supply facilities in order to de-energize settlements, kindergartens, life support facilities for the population and industrial enterprises, the Ministry of Defense noted.
In particular, as a result of the shelling of the Petrovsky district of Donetsk on September 10, more than 1,600 civilian objects were left without power supply.
Earlier, the chairman of the movement "We are together with Russia" Vladimir Rogov said that at night the sixth power unit of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant was stopped.
According to him, the ZNPP power units were stopped due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and damage to power lines.
