crime details

In the details of the case, the husband - who was the Vice-President of the State Council (Egyptian Administrative Court) and the representative of the Council's Judges Club - killed his wife, broadcaster Shaima Gamal, by beating the head and suffocation, before using acids to distort the face and upper part of the body, to hide her features until She is not identified, and she was buried inside a farm in the Abu Sir area in Badrashin (south of Giza Governorate).

According to the Egyptian newspaper, "Al-Shorouk", the announcer's body was subjected to deliberate mutilation and representation, which led to the concealment of her features completely, as her head and other parts of her body were burned with caustic substance.

The second accused went to the Public Prosecution after the victim's family reported her disappearance, and said that her husband was behind the killing and burial of her body on a farm in Abu Sir, so that the Public Prosecution decided to seize and bring the husband and the security services arrested him in hiding in Suez Governorate, to admit that he committed the crime in partnership with his friend.

The security services in Giza found the victim's body buried inside the place identified by the second accused, after she had been missing for 3 weeks.

According to the Public Prosecution, the presenter's husband was behind her murder and that he committed the crime because of differences between them.

Investigations revealed that the judge had married the announcer 8 years ago, and recently, disagreements erupted between them, which prompted the victim to threaten her husband to reveal the secret of their marriage to his first wife, which made the judge plans to get rid of her with death.

The judge carried out the crime and then quickly submitted an official report of her disappearance, claiming that she had disappeared after leaving the hairdresser's shop where she was going, while the victim's family stated that they did not expect that her husband was the reason behind her disappearance, as he was allegedly sad and worried about her.
