“Scientists from the Rostov Research Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology of Rospotrebnadzor have developed the first vaccine against rotavirus in Russia,” the agency said in a statement on the Vkontakte social network.
Currently, clinical trials of the drug are being completed.
The start of vaccine production is scheduled for 2023.
Earlier, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gennady Onishchenko, in an interview with the FAN, recalled the importance of revaccination against COVID-19.
