Gina Lollobrigida is in hospital following a fall that caused her femur to break.

She confirms this to "La Presse" by her lawyer Antonio Ingroia.

The 95-year-old movie star fell into her home yesterday and was taken to a Roman hospital where she will be operated on Monday.

"She's fine, I heard her last night and she was watching a movie," said the lawyer.

The operation she will undergo is an operation, typical of fractures of the femur, which the doctors have considered possible despite the age and heart problems of the actress.

But the health professionals are keeping the utmost confidentiality.

The "Lollo" a few days ago had announced his descent into the field as leaders in the single-member constituency of the Senate in Latina for Sovereign and Popular Italy, the list promoted by the Communist Party, Socialist Homeland, Civil Action, Again Italy and Reconquer Italy.

The "Bersagliera" currently has a court-appointed support administrator who manages its assets after his personal assistant, Andrea Piazzolla, was investigated for circumvention of incapacity.

The trial is still ongoing and rumors close to the actress say that her factotum would be at the actress's bedside, despite her son accusing him of raiding her assets.
