A case of bullying was subjected to Egyptian actress Mervat Amin, who has long been known as an icon of beauty, after publishing a picture of her during the funeral ceremony of the late director Ali Abdel Khaleq, and sadness was controlling her and her face filled with wrinkles.

The bullies were divided into two groups: the first focused on the appearance of signs of aging on Mervat Amin, comparing her with her pictures during her youth, while the second denounced her leaving a place where the media was present without cosmetics or interest in her appearance.

Social media phishing

Mervat Amin herself commented in a phone call to her with the journalist Ramy Radwan, saying, "I do not know why the social media is trolling me. They talk about consolation and say that she looks worried and grown up. Is it required of me to go to a funeral with full makeup? I am used to and no longer care, but why do they deliberately hurt feelings?" People?"

For her part, her daughter, Menna Hussein Fahmy, commented on what is happening, "My mother does not have any dealings or accounts on the communication platforms, and in any case, she is not sad because of what was said about her, but because she has lost many of those whom she has always considered as her family during the past two years."

And she added, "The reason for her going to the funeral is to fulfill her duty, and because she is a woman who is confident in her condition and satisfied with her appearance, she went over her nature, and in every way she is beautiful, as well as all women are beautiful of all ages."

It is worth noting that Mervat Amin lost many friends in a short period due to the outbreak of the Corona virus;

Which, in turn, affected her psychological state and caused her a deserved and deep sadness, headed by the two stars and friends of age, Dalal Abdel Aziz and Rajaa Al-Jeddawi, as well as the departure of Samir Sabry and Samir Ghanem, in addition to the artists she lost, according to her daughter's statements, she also lost some from outside the center, And "the pain in her heart may leave a lump that will not go away easily."

We grew up as you will one day

This was followed by a wave of solidarity with Mervat Amin, whether from the public or her fellow artists from all over the Arab world, the last of which was issued by the Syrian actress Raghda, who published a strict post on her official Facebook account in which she said, "We grew up, but we are not horses, yes we grew up as we did." You will grow up one day, but we did not and will not allow our backs to the executioners, we have matured enough to replace our previous needs with health and cover and dispense with the details of an ugly time.”

She added, "We grew up knowing that every stage of life has its own coordination and privacy. Neither plastic surgery, nor those dazzling fashions, nor that lightness that hides our breath is able to falsify reality. Enjoy, even if we know that they are sadistic souls, so fear God and after him a day when you may realize the meaning of what I wrote.

Stars of the Arab world unite

Among the artists who were quick to support Mervat Amin by publishing pictures of them accompanied by the Egyptian artist Donia Samir Ghanem, whom she described as her second mother, and the Lebanese singer Cyrine Abdel Nour, who praised Mervat Amin's long and fruitful history in cinema and television.

As for the Syrian actress, Suzan Najm Al-Din, she addressed the bullies, reprimanding them, describing them as "without reason, religion and criminals," as she put it.

It's Mervat Amin, criminals.. Have you

grown up? What have you grown up and hopefully we are all arrogant like you have grown up? Are you not?

May God not make you grow old and forbid you to see your wrinkles, who are you bullying for arrogance as if they were something wrong?!

I slandered, and God is deficient in reason and religion.. Indeed, we are in the end of time

As for the Egyptian actor, Tawfiq Abdel Hamid, he confirmed that after the case of bullying that was practiced against the artist Mervat Amin without the slightest consideration, whether for the occasion in which she appeared or the factors of time that no one will escape from;

He made a final decision not to appear with the crutch (the cane) on which he reclines on any public occasion, despite his need for it as a result of his recent illness.

It was not limited to art people or viewers, but extended to other parties, including writers and journalists who denounced the danger of bullying, which has become prevalent on social media platforms, especially against celebrities and the elderly, and indicated the need to address it.

Among them: the Lebanese media, Maryam Shehab, the Lebanese presenter Rabaa Al-Zayat, the Iraqi journalist and investigative researcher Mahmoud Al-Najjar, the Lebanese producer and media figure Ricardo Karam, and the Emirati writer Abdullah Al-Nuaimi.

There are people who are bullying and making fun of the Egyptian actress Mervat Amin after her last appearance, why?

Because she has grown up and wrinkles have shown her crookedness... Botox and filler societies can no longer tolerate a woman with wrinkles!!

What does #Mervat_Amin mean, leaving her like this and not performing 70 operations, to show that she is 20 years old?

a stranger!

The able artist #Mervat_Amin in two pictures, 30 years and 80 years old, and between them 50 years of giving, beauty and art.

This great artist was subjected to a wave of bullying and ridicule in an immoral way, and the media and social media comments caused great frustration in herself... This behavior is unacceptable and very dangerous, and we must reject it.

Yes #Mervat_Amin has grown up, but she is happy, satisfied and proud of the wrinkles on her face, whoever does not respect this conviction and this contentment is an incomplete human being, this social violence based on stereotyping the image is nothing but ignorance and backwardness.

All the way to the head of the National Council for Women in Egypt, Maya Morsi, who sent a letter to the artist, Mervat Amin, asking her not to be sad, declaring that everyone appreciates and respects her, but the bullies do not deserve to be held accountable.
