The number of regret votes has increased - this is what you do if you changed your mind

The number of people who vote early in Sweden has increased during the last elections.

In the last election in 2018, 10,193 people canceled their early vote, which corresponded to 0.16 percent of those who voted.

The low percentage of regret votes has made the Electoral Authority believe that there are good reasons to review the possibility of regret voting, but the possibility still exists.

- It is quite unusual for voters to regret, we usually have a handful of votes of regret at each election, says Andreas Lindbom, municipal strategist in Eskilstuna.
