As an additional measure,

we will provide 50,000 yen per household to households exempt from resident tax to support people who are having trouble living due to rising prices of electricity, gas, food, etc.

In addition, in order to

curb

rising fuel prices such as gasoline, subsidies provided to oil wholesalers will continue until the end of the year.

Going forward, we plan to maintain the current level.

In addition,

in order to provide support according to the actual situation of the region, a new framework of 600 billion yen will be set up for the regional revitalization temporary subsidy. We are planning to spend about 3 trillion yen from reserve funds.

Prime Minister Kishida said, "While paying close attention to the impact of trends in international commodity prices and global monetary tightening on the domestic and foreign economies, we will seamlessly take bold measures according to the situation of prices and the economy." After stating this, I instructed the relevant ministers to formulate new economic measures this fall.
