The next morning, several sources announced that localities in the south and in the east had been liberated from the pro-Moscow occupying forces.

After Ukrainian soldiers hoisted the yellow and blue flag on the roof of the Vissokopolie hospital in the Kherson region on Sunday, members of the Ukrainian armed forces are breaking the informational silence demanded by their officers and posting on social networks videos in

localities freshly recaptured from the Russians

.

According to the maps of the Institute for the Study of War, an American study center with often very reliable analyses, the army of

Kiev would have advanced in depth

on the left bank of the Dnieper, creating a pocket of liberated territory, which could eventually split

the sector held by the Russians

in two .

In the East, there is also something new: a

parallel counter-offensive has been launched between Kharkiv

and Izium, announced an adviser to President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Separatist officials in Donetsk have confirmed that the Ukrainian army has gone on the attack in the localities of Balakleia, and Volokhiv Yar, which indicates that kyiv is gradually trying to surround and isolate the Russian forces located in Izium, the last major city between Kharkiv and the Donbass region.

Meanwhile, the Russian army continues to trample on the outskirts of Bakhmut (between Sloviansk and Donetsk), and despite heavy shelling of civilian areas of Sloviansk, on most fronts the Ukrainians are slowly and methodically to take control of the initiative in combat.
