“The Istra city prosecutor’s office sent materials to the body of inquiry to resolve the issue of criminal prosecution of the girls’ mother... The children crossed the roadway outside the pedestrian crossing and were unaccompanied by adults at the time of the car collision,” the department said in a Telegram statement.
Based on the results of consideration of the materials of the prosecutor's check, a criminal case was initiated under Art.
125 of the Criminal Code of Russia "Leaving in danger".
Earlier it was reported that in Istra, near Moscow, a garbage truck ran into two children, as a result of which one child died, the second was hospitalized.
