In August 2020, Adriana was shot dead at a gas station in Botkyrka south of Stockholm.

In SVT's Prime Minister's meeting, Adriana's mother, Susanne, was present to ask a question to both prime ministerial candidates Ulf Kristersson (M) and Magdalena Andersson (S):

- How do you think it feels to lose a child because you failed to stop these criminals?

Kristersson: We have the worst crime rate

Ulf Kristersson regrets the situation and says that he can hardly imagine Susanne's situation.

- I am so sorry, says Ulf Kristersson and continues:

- No other country in Europe has it like we do.

We have the worst serious crime, says Kristersson.

The M leader believes that Sweden must start looking at other countries and how they have acted.

Among other things, he brings up the Danish model when it comes to stricter punishments and other measures for gang crime.

Andersson: Must see the whole problem

- It is of course strong to meet you.

I am very glad you are here.

It is terrible what we see in Sweden, says Magdalena Andersson.

She also says that more must be done to increase penalties and measures to stop crime.

- But we have to see the whole problem for the whole solution, adds the S leader, referring to the preventive work to stop new recruitment.

She mentions strengthening the school's role as an example of preventive measures.

Adriana's mom wants to see more action

Susanne Yakes says she hears the party leaders, but wants to see more action:

- It's crazy that I'm standing here and that I need to raise this issue.

I want things to happen.

This  is how the

parties want to solve crime.
