President Yoon Seok-yeol will meet with US Vice President Kamala Harris, who will visit Korea on the 29th, the presidential office said today (8th).

After making this statement in today's press release, the presidential office said, "We plan to exchange opinions on matters of mutual interest, such as North Korea issues, economic security, and major regional and international issues, as well as ways to strengthen Korea-U.S. relations."

The visit of the US Vice President to Korea will be the first in 4 years and 6 months since then US Vice President Mike Pence's visit to Korea in February 2018 during the Moon Jae-in administration.

It is also about three months since US President Joe Biden's official visit to Korea in May.
