The fact that his wife Zübeyde, who lives separately from him, has not worked for Arbeiterwohlfahrt (AWO) since 2016 for whatever reason, although she is employed there, cannot be blamed on the still incumbent Frankfurt Mayor Peter Feldmann (SPD). .

However, the attitude of the couple, who once got along so well, is very thought-provoking: In both cases, comparatively little performance is opposed to a high level of entitlement with regard to what one is supposedly entitled to in terms of honor or benefits.

And one wonders how one can manage to muddle through life quite successfully on the surface for a long time.

Exemplary, just as a mayor and his family should be in a naïve normal case from the old days,

No understanding of the economy

Worse, however, is that this can also be related to the mayor's political balance sheet: If he has praised himself for what he has achieved in the past, one always had to be careful: Had the project possibly been proposed and decided by someone completely different beforehand?

And if not: Whose money did he spend on what?

But above all: What did he himself do before that the money was earned by the remaining taxpayers?

The harder times get, the more voters should grapple with this point.

Because what is redistributed must first be generated by someone who, unlike Feldmann, actually goes to work on time every day and creates real value in the process.

Politicians who want to redistribute should be more interested in this population group again.

This is the case in Berlin, but also in Frankfurt.

Peter Feldmann in particular was always alien to this idea.

He sells revenue and profit generators like the IAA, doesn't care about the positive further development of the airport or regulates the municipal housing company instead of ensuring that the city gets through the meanwhile multiple crises.

Because that would have to do with an understanding of economics that he lacks.

Beyond all the scandals, that should also encourage him to ensure that he is successfully voted out in November.
