Peace and national reconciliation, the form of the State, the future Constitution, institutional reforms and the electoral process that will follow, fundamental rights and freedoms, sectoral public policies and the major issues that mark Chadian society: these are the themes that will be debated by the five working groups from this Wednesday.

Synthesis

Each participant was asked to join the commission of his choice.

The themes are the synthesis of the concerns raised by the representatives of Chadian society during the preparatory meetings of the national dialogue, held in the 23 provinces of the country, but also in a dozen foreign capitals where a large number of Chadians reside.

A more convenient step

After the adoption of the resolutions of the work of these commissions, we will then move on to a more practical stage.

It will be a question of setting up

commissions in charge of discussing the continuation of the transition, its duration, the eligibility or not of its leaders and the fate of the members of the rebel movements which signed the peace agreement. of Doha on August 8th.

Indicative closing date of the dialogue: next September 30.
