In the 7th month of the Russian offensive in Ukraine, Vladimir Putin came, as is customary, to attend the last day of the annual military maneuvers of the Russian army in the Russian Far East.

Vostok 2022 is, for these exercises always presented as defensive, less manpower than the previous season, but a desire to display: the country wants to show its military capacity and its ability to counteract the isolation of Russia by the Westerners.

For this last episode of the maneuvers under the aegis of President Vladimir Putin, guns, tanks and missiles resounded about sixty kilometers from the border of China, which for Moscow in this edition Vostok 2022, the most important foreign partner.

Russian military analysts went there with their shower of comments on the presence of Chinese soldiers.

For this Vostok 2022 edition, the Russian army has given the figure of 2,000 foreign soldiers out of the contingent of 50,000 in action.

Nearly 2,000 soldiers who would also have come from Central Asia, Algeria, Laos, Burma and Syria with the participation of India.

This Tuesday Vladimir Poutine also goes to the economic forum of Vladivostok which has for topic this year “On the way of a multipolar world”.

He will meet the number 3 of the Chinese Communist Party at the forum on Wednesday before meeting Xi Xinping in Uzbekistan next week.
