US General Hinot said that the Pentagon helped the Armed Forces of Ukraine "counter Russia in the air"

The soldier said that the US military must convincingly demonstrate, especially to Russia and China, that they are able to "oppose the things they need to succeed."

“The case of Ukraine openly demonstrated opposition to dominance (of Russia) in the air,” Hinot said.

U.S. Brigadier General Mark Kimmitt previously wrote an op-ed for The Wall Street Journal, in which he said that the reduction in the supply of advanced weapons systems threatens to have catastrophic consequences for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
