Raffaella Carrà's face and iconic blond bob will appear on the two-euro coins next year.

So the State Mint has decided to pay homage to the great artist of Emilian origin one year after her death, which took place on 5 July 2021 at the age of 78 and after a short illness.

Each year the member countries of the euro zone can mint and put into circulation commemorative or celebratory coins and 2023 will be dedicated to the queen of the tuca tuca.

The news was given by Fabio Canino at the TV festival scheduled these days in the province of Cuneo and announced on the twitter page Cinguetterai.
