“We regret that in your report on the implementation of IAEA safeguards in Ukraine for the period from April to September of this year, which appeared just a couple of hours ago, the source of the shelling is not directly indicated,” Nebenzya said.

The Russian permanent representative declared the need to call a spade a spade.

Nebenzya stressed that the Russian side would need time to study the report.

He also called on IAEA Director Rafael Grossi to clarify what military equipment he saw during his visit to the station.

Earlier, the IAEA published a report on the results of the delegation's trip to the Zaporozhye NPP.

In it, the department, in particular, stated that in order to avoid damage to the nuclear power plant, an agreement was needed by all parties to create a protective zone around the plant.
