FSB published archival documents on the killings of Poles in Ukraine during the Volyn massacre

It also became known about the “mass extermination by Ukrainian nationalist Bandera of the Polish population living in the city of Vladimir-Volynsk” in July 1943.

“During the service in the churches, the Bandera people killed 11 priests and up to 2 thousand Poles on the streets of the city,” the ministry said.

In July, during commemorative events in Warsaw, Polish President Andrzej Duda promised that the Poles would not take revenge on the Ukrainians for the Volyn massacre.
