A violent brawl broke out on Sunday evening rue d'Alsace-Lorraine, in Toulouse, around 7:30 p.m.
During the fight, a 20-year-old man was stabbed in the face, hitting his airways.
In an absolute emergency, he was taken care of by the firefighters.
He had to be medicalized on the spot before being evacuated to Rangueil hospital.
It would be a fight between misfits, and the author of the stabbing would still be at large.
An investigation has been opened by the national police.
