A group of 30 young Emirati university graduates have passed a rigorous selection process to enroll in a training course that qualifies them to achieve future professional success in the growing world of cloud computing, in the context of a collaborative initiative between the Dubai Government Human Resources Department and the global technology giant "SAP", based in Dubai. Abdullah Ali bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department, said that the department aims, according to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to provide exceptional talents among young citizens, with new skills. The demand for it increases with the development of the institutions’ business and the growth of their efforts in the field of digital transformation, in order to take advantage of modern technologies in the hoped way.

On the sidelines of a ceremony held by Dubai Internet City to welcome young citizens in the specialized technical course, he added: "It is important to have a strong and sustainable skills base that meets the human capital requirements of Dubai government entities, especially as the UAE strengthens its role as a global center for technology."

The two-month intensive course for young Emirati graduates is the 16th edition of the SAP Young Professionals Program being held in the UAE.

The training in the program, which is held in cooperation with the Human Resources Department of the Government of Dubai, will include certification courses in the SAP Analytics Cloud platform and the RISE With SAP platform, ( Cloud implementation of S/4HANA, SAP Activate, and SAP ERP solution.

The comprehensive development plan developed by the information technology giant aims to lay a solid foundation for excellence backed by accreditation certificates, to enable graduate students to successfully put their feet on the first path of their careers.

Participants in the program graduate certified assistant consultants from SAP, which allows them to be immediately hired within the company's client and partner system.

For his part, the CEO of SAP in the UAE, Zakaria Haltout, indicated that the UAE is a global model for developing the digital economy, creating job opportunities, and encouraging young talents to work in the fields of technology, stressing Providing Emirati youth with digital skills will enable them to raise the standards of digital management in state institutions, and lead innovation and digital transformation in a sustainable way. About 3,730 students have graduated from the SAP Young Professionals Program, who received training in 39 countries, including more than 230 from the UAE, since the program was launched in 2012.

Training in the program includes certification courses in the Analytics Cloud platform.
