This was announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to reports, Kyiv was preparing an operation to seize the West nuclear power plant with Western sponsors.

“In the presence of the IAEA mission, the world community should have been informed about the transfer of the station to the control of Kyiv by specially selected and trained “media representatives” from Ukraine, from the USA and Great Britain,” the ministry said in a statement.

To do this, the Kyiv regime attached cars with Ukrainian and Western journalists to the IAEA motorcade, but all unauthorized persons, when trying to cross the demarcation line, along with the IAEA motorcade, stopped and were not allowed to pass.

At the same time, at the request of the IAEA Secretariat, the Russian side ensured the arrival of more than 60 media representatives from different countries to the station, the ministry stressed.

On September 1, it became known that two groups of Ukrainian saboteurs landed on the coast of the Kakhovka reservoir near the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

The divisions of the Russian Guard guarding the ZNPP discovered and blocked these sabotage groups.

Also, late in the evening of September 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to land troops on boats on the coast of the Kakhovka reservoir in the area of Energodar and Dneprorudny.
