During the past 12 years, the Center Party has governed politics in Storuman together with the Moderates, the Liberals and the Christian Democrats. 

At the beginning of March this year, current municipal councilor Tomas Mörtsell (C) announced that he will not stand in the upcoming elections.

Instead, 27-year-old Malin Svensson from Filipstad is the first name on the Center Party's ballot paper. 

- I want to continue running the municipality with a focus on order and order.

I will also invest in cultural life, work for green growth and a balanced economy, she says.

S believes that the surplus is too large

Ulrik Dahlgren, the Social Democrats' first name in Storuman, believes that the municipality's surplus today is far too large. 

- The municipality does not have to go with a surplus of SEK 32 million.
