"We hereby declare the new Kiruna center inaugurated" it sounded through the loudspeakers on the town hall square as a result of applause from the large crowd of Kiruna residents who had gathered on Saturday.
Several speakers took their seats on Aurora's balcony, including municipal councilor Gunnar Selberg, county councilor Kenneth Backgård and LKAB CEO Jan Moström.
