The Federal Air Transport Agency has once again extended restrictions on flights to 11 airports in the south and central part of Russia, the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency reported.

“The temporary flight restriction regime at 11 Russian airports has been extended until September 10, 2022, 03:45 Moscow time.

Flights to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista are temporarily restricted.

A recommendation was also made to airlines on organizing the transportation of passengers on alternative routes using the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.

“The rest of the airports in the Russian Federation are operating normally,” the agency noted.

Recall that the Federal Air Transport Agency imposed restrictions on flights to the south of Russia on February 24, the day the special operation began in support of the republics of Donbass.

Initially, the restrictions were introduced until March 2.
