A pledge to support the establishment of 100 families annually

Khalaf Al Habtoor launches an initiative to support young people who are about to get married

Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor: "Spinsterhood is one of the most important problems facing Arab societies, and all businessmen must contribute to solving this problem."

Emirati businessman, Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Habtoor, launched an initiative to support young Emirati men and women who are about to get married, by contributing to the establishment of 100 families annually, stressing that the family is the basis of society, and its support achieves stability and continuity for it.

Al Habtoor said in a tweet through his account on the social networking platform “Twitter” that spinsterhood is one of the most important problems facing Arab societies, and all businessmen should contribute to solving this problem, especially since the state has many tasks and responsibilities, where financial factors play a major role in delaying marriage.

He called on businessmen and those who are able to contribute to participate in the initiative, and sponsor the support of a number of young people who are about to get married, stressing the large number of philanthropists in the country, who wish to support their community and facilitate the youth.

He stated that the family is the basis of society, and if it is not supported, this society will not be stable, whether in the state or in any country in the world, stressing the ability of Emirati businessmen to provide this support, and marry the largest number of young citizens annually.

The Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Foundation for Charitable Activities cooperated with "Emirates Today" to sponsor a mass wedding under the slogan "The Wedding of Goodness", within the framework of the "Year of Giving", during which 50 middle- and low-income grooms were married.
