The investigations of the Public Prosecution Office and the case papers, as established by the conviction of the court, indicated that the defendants went to a mobile phone shop in the Naif area, claiming that they wanted to buy a new phone.

The employee in the shop offered them a set of phones, and they negotiated with him about the price, as the shop owner stuck to a certain price, but the first accused insisted on a lower price, and while he was negotiating with him about the price, his colleague took advantage of the seller’s preoccupation, and stole eight phones that were offered to them, and followed him His co-defendant went smoothly.

Investigations indicated that the shop owner noticed the theft after the accused left the shop, so he informed the police, while the two accused sold the eight phones for less than a quarter of their price to six different stores to avoid suspicion.

The prosecution brought a single accusation against a seller in one of these stores, because he did not ask for the identity card from any of the accused when he sold him a stolen phone, while the accused showed his identity card to the other stores from which he bought the rest of the stolen phones.

The victim stated in the investigations of the Public Prosecution that he was on the job in the shop when two people entered and asked for some phones with the intention of buying, and they stayed in the shop for about five minutes and left without buying any phone, and after they came out, he inspected the display table and discovered the disappearance of eight phones. He takes advantage of his preoccupation with the other and stole phones.

By asking the first accused in the investigations of the Public Prosecution, he denied intentionally stealing the phones, noting that he entered the shop with the intention of buying a phone, and later was surprised that his colleague had stolen the phones, and he was not aware of his intention or planning to do so, adding that he had already participated in the disposal of the stolen phones, and sold them using his identity card. .

While the second accused in the investigations confessed to committing the crime, pointing out that he went to a mobile phone shop and took advantage of the seller's preoccupation with his colleague, the first accused, and stole eight phones, without anyone noticing, and later sold them with his colleague to a number of shops.

While a third defendant in the incident, who was not covered by the "theft accusation", stated that he allowed the investigators to look at the surveillance cameras and saw the two defendants enter the place and sell him a smart phone for about a quarter of its price, admitting that he did not ask them for an identity card, but he denied his participation in the theft crime.

After examining the case by the Criminal Court, it concluded by convicting the two defendants and deciding to imprison them for three months and deport them from the state.
