“In light of the ongoing Ukrainian shelling of the ZNPP and today’s reckless provocation by the Kyiv regime aimed at disrupting the visit of IAEA inspectors to the station, Russia has requested a meeting of the UN Security Council for September 6,” he wrote on Telegram.

Polyansky added that at the meeting it is planned to listen to the speech of the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grosi, following the visit to ZNPP.
