Externally, the new Yaris Cross GR Sport is distinguished by new 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, a new rear diffuser, and a new grille with black mesh pattern and discreet GR badge.

Also note a new dynamic gray color, available in a two-tone version with a contrasting black roof and pillars for the Bitone version.

Inside, the sports front seats have new gray upholstery with red stitching.

Similar shiny stitching is present on the steering wheel and gear lever.

The GR logo is clearly visible on the front headrests, the start button and the steering wheel, not to mention the silver decorative inserts on the doors and the dashboard.

The Yaris Cross GR Sport is powered by Toyota's highly efficient 1.5-litre Hybrid Dynamic Force 3-cylinder engine, claiming 40% efficiency.

On the chassis side, performance has been fine-tuned with new suspension tuning, giving the driver better steering, body roll and grip feel.

The Yaris Cross GR Sport costs €34,470 and €38,450 for the Bitone version.

Sales will begin in September.
