 1. Testing requirements

  All those who depart from Chile and take flights to China, regardless of whether they have completed the new crown vaccination procedures, should have a nucleic acid test at two different local testing institutions within 2 days before the flight departure (no specific time required), respectively. At least one of the nucleic acid tests must be carried out within 1 day before the flight departure.

Both nucleic acid test results should be negative.

2. Testing institutions

  Passengers going to China can be tested at any local legal testing agency.

3. Apply for a health code (and a statement of health status)

  (1) Chinese passengers, after obtaining the test results, should immediately fill in the relevant information and submit the following certification materials through the B-1 port of the WeChat applet of the international version of the epidemic prevention health code:

  1. 2 copies of nucleic acid test results from different institutions;

  2. Chinese passport or travel document information page;

  3. Flight itinerary to China;

  4. Chilean local ID or Chilean visa

  (2) After obtaining the test results, non-Chinese passengers should log on to the website: https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ and use their email to register an account.

  Applicants should follow the prompts to fill in and declare their health status online, and submit the following certification materials:

  1. 2 copies of nucleic acid test results from different testing institutions;

  2. Chile passport information page;

  3. A Chinese visa issued after March 26, 2020, or a valid Chinese residence permit for work, reunion, or private affairs;

  4. Flight itinerary to China.

  4. Persons with a history of past infection

  Those who have been diagnosed with new coronary pneumonia must follow the following procedures to go to China:

  (1) After recovery, carry out two nucleic acid PCR tests at different local testing institutions (at least 24 hours apart between the two tests).

Within 3 days after obtaining all the test certificates, together with the passport information page of the passenger, submit it to the embassy by e-mail, with the subject of the e-mail indicating "infected person + name of the person involved".

  (2) After the embassy receives the email, it will conduct a pre-review and feedback the result of the pre-review within 1-2 working days.

  (3) After passing the pre-examination, from the date of sampling of the second negative nucleic acid test report, if there is no abnormality in the health monitoring for 14 days, the test can be carried out according to the general personnel process and the health code can be applied.

When applying for the health code, please upload 2 negative reports confirming recovery.

5. Close contacts and suspected infected persons

  People who have close contact with suspected cases, asymptomatic infected people and confirmed cases (counted from 2 days before the onset of symptoms), including family members living with the above-mentioned people, are close contacts.

Close contacts and suspected infected persons should undergo 5-day isolation and health monitoring. If there is no abnormality, they can be tested according to the relevant requirements of Article 1 of this notice and apply for a health code.

6. Other matters needing attention

  (1) There is no limit to the number of transfers for passengers on flights to China.

However, passengers departing from Chile to China should be tested locally and at the departure point of direct flights to China, and apply for a health code.

  Passengers should understand in advance the entry and epidemic prevention policies of the relevant transit places, as well as the health code application requirements of the corresponding Chinese embassies and consulates.

  (2) Enterprise personnel, temporary personnel, landing crew and other personnel returning to China are regarded as ordinary passengers.

  (3) For those who depart from Chile and arrive at the transit place without obtaining the health code, our Embassy will not supplement the examination and issuance of the health code.

The person concerned should be quarantined or tested in accordance with the requirements of the Chinese embassy or consulate in the transit place, and then apply for a health code at the local Chinese embassy or consulate; or return directly to Chile and apply for a health code at our embassy according to relevant procedures.

  (4) Some transit places and airlines have set some restrictive conditions on their own for flights to China. It is recommended to understand and confirm in advance.

  (5) After the embassy receives the health code application, it will review it within 24 hours.

Those who do not meet the conditions will be returned with the reasons indicated.

During holidays, weekends and other periods, the embassy's health code review and issuance work is carried out normally.

If the health code has not been issued 3 hours before the flight departure, or there are other special circumstances, you can call the embassy for consultation.

Please do not urge during the review period, so as not to affect the review efficiency.

  The requirements for applying for a health code will be adjusted at any time according to domestic epidemic prevention policies.

If there is any inconsistency between previous notices and this notice, this notice shall prevail.
