No less than three severe heat waves have hit Spain during the summer.

That, combined with drought, has meant earlier harvesting for several of the country's winegrowers - and that they have started harvesting at night.

At two o'clock in the morning, Andres Morate and his colleagues start harvesting grapes by hand.

Shortly after dawn, the working day is over.

- The grapes are cooler when we pick and then we don't have to cool them down as much when we bring them in.

That is an advantage, says Andres Morate.
