According to previous reports, a delegation led by the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Grossi left for Ukraine on the 29th and arrived in Kyiv on the 30th.

The Russian side said the delegation would travel to the nuclear power plant through areas controlled by the Ukrainian military.

The International Atomic Energy Agency posted a list of tasks for the trip on social media, including assessing the damage to the nuclear power plant, determining the operation of the safety system of the nuclear power plant facility, assessing the working conditions of the nuclear power plant employees, and taking emergency measures to ensure the safety of the nuclear power plant.

The Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is the largest nuclear power plant in Ukraine and one of the largest in Europe.

In March 2022, the nuclear power plant was controlled by the Russian military.

Recently, Russia and Ukraine accused each other of launching an attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant area, and its nuclear safety risk has caused concern in the international community.
