The coast of

Alicante

and

Murcia

experienced a devastating chapter this Monday.

The Civil Guard rescued the bodies of seven people from

Algeria,

two of them children and a pregnant woman, who had started their journey on August 1.

The derision is even more dramatic, if possible, since in the boat in which they were traveling were eight other people who are still missing and whom the agents are looking for.

There is only one survivor: a 21-year-old man who managed not to fall from the boat after the sea hit.

The lifeless bodies were rescued between Sunday afternoon and today in the waters of

Pilar de la Horadada

,

Torrevieja

(Alicante) and L

a Manga del Mar Menor

(Murcia) by the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard and it is not ruled out that the bodies of the rest of the occupants appear in the course of the next few hours, according to sources from the Armed Institute.

The same sources reported that the shipwreck would have occurred on the 21st. The boat was located last Saturday in

Cabo de la Nao

, in

Xàbia

, and it was a sailboat that alerted Salvamento Marítimo.

Only the young man was on the boat, who had sunburns and was dehydrated.

He was the one who put the agents in a situation, with which a wide search device was established for the disappeared persons.

The bodies appeared a day after Maritime Salvage located the boat.

The first body appeared on Sunday on a beach in Pilar de la Horadada.

It was that of a pregnant woman, sources in the case reported to this newspaper.

Later, the one of the two children and the other adults were found on the coast of Alicante and Murcia.

All of them were transferred to the

Institute of Legal Medicine

to perform an autopsy and determine the exact causes of death.
