It was on April 30 this year that a 25-year-old man was stabbed to death during a major fight in Berga in Kalmar.

In early August, a 17-year-old boy was charged with murder and four men between 19 and 23 were charged with aggravated assault.

But the prosecutor has had a main village - the 17-year-old has admitted that he stabbed the victim once.

But the forensic examination shows that the murdered man was stabbed on two occasions.

- There we thought it was the same person who stabbed because they (the stab wounds) are next to each other, says prosecutor Kjell Janneson.

Now, during the ongoing trial, the prosecutor has changed his mind.

A 23-year-old is also charged with murder.

A killing blow

The reason is said to be information from several people, both co-accused and witnesses, which indicate that the 23-year-old stabbed the murder victim before the 17-year-old.

- Most people have seen the last cut.

But several say that the 23-year-old was the first to arrive and when he leaves, the murder victim is perceived as injured.

A scream of pain has also been heard.

One of the stabs hit the body pulse and was directly fatal, but according to Kjell Janneson, the investigation has not been able to show who caused that injury.

Therefore, both the 23-year-old and the 17-year-old are charged with attempted second-degree murder.

The 23-year-old denies wrongdoing.

The 17-year-old admits to stabbing the victim, but claims it was a mistake.

The trial will continue as planned, the last day of the trial is on Wednesday this week.
