Strömstad municipality assesses that there is a risk of forest fire.
The burning ban that has been introduced means a ban on all burning with solid fuel, for example wood, coal, grass, rice and branches, in nature.
Allowed to grill on your own plot
Strömstad is currently the only municipality in Västra götaland where a fire ban has been issued.
The ban, issued by the municipality, means that it is, on the other hand, permitted to grill on your own property and in public places at fixed, demarcated barbecue areas with gravel or the like around them.
Anyone who defies the ban risks a fine.
