-old girl has had to be hospitalized after being
bitten
on Saturday night by a
pitbull dog
, mixed with a Labrador, on a street in
Majadahonda
, police sources have reported.
The events occurred near Cervantes Boulevard.
The girl was walking around the area with her father when she approached the dog, who reacted violently by throwing her to the ground ,
attacking her in the face
, causing injuries for which she had to be admitted to the La Paz Hospital in Madrid.
The dog, which was
tied up but was not properly muzzled
, was taken to municipal offices.
The Local Police, who traveled to the area, will check the documentation of the animal and if it had the vaccinations in order.
The agents also had to
protect the dog's owner
, who suffered an
attempted assault
, and who could be held responsible for what happened.
