The entertainment and serious festive manifestations pervaded the first days of school, as school administrations were keen to organize unconventional receptions for students, especially kindergartens and the first episode, by distributing roses and sweets and organizing artistic activities for them, to increase their demand for study, and break the barrier of fear for them, while students organized The oldest in their ranks from the first class.

In the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, public and private schools received male and female students in different grades.

The first day of the study witnessed an increase in attendance rates ranging between 90% and 95%, which was confirmed by school officials and students' families.

Abu Dhabi public and private schools recorded almost complete attendance of male and female students on the first day, as the absence rate in some schools in the first cycle ranged between 5% and 10%, while the second and third cycles recorded greater regularity, and the attendance rate ranged between 95% and 97%.

Teachers attributed the absences during the first day to the presence of families outside the country.

Teachers were fully present in all schools in the emirate.

Officials in public and private schools, Mahmoud Obaid, Amani El-Sherbiny, Martha Younan and Fatima Shaheen, confirmed the readiness of Abu Dhabi schools to receive students and members of the educational and administrative bodies, and the completion of all maintenance and periodic follow-up work that take place during the school holiday, noting that “work teams and internal committees in schools continued to work during The past few days, to ensure the readiness of classrooms and school facilities.

They stated that the first day of the study began at seven in the morning, as schools allocated doors for students from kindergarten to sixth grade (students under 12) to enter directly into their classes, while schools required students from 12 years of age and above to enter through special doors to review their certificates. They received a negative PCR test valid for 96 hours.

Teachers and administrators, Ayman Rajab, Nawal Massad, Maysoon Shalakany, Ahmed Salama and Kholoud Muhammad, confirmed that "the first day witnessed the presence and commitment of the students," pointing to the initiative to prepare them for hard work and regular study.

They stressed that "the attendance rates are very good compared to previous years," and that they are working to communicate and send text messages to the families of students who did not attend to find out the reason for their absence from school, "but in general, the vast majority of students adhered to school hours."

They pointed out that male and female students are directed to adhere to preventive measures, and sterilize their personal tools for their own safety, with an emphasis on not attending school hours in case they feel tired or overheating, and conducting a PCR examination and reporting its result to the school administration.

It is worth noting that the “National Protocol for the Operation of Educational Facilities” allowed students to enroll in attendance education, adopt a strategy for the emergence of symptoms, abolish thermal examination for students and employees, and provided the option to work and distance education for students and teachers infected with “Corona”, in addition to canceling distances between educational facilities and buses. schoolhouse.
