The accident occurred during an outing with the Ploumagoar recreation center.

Victim of an onset of drowning, the girl had been rescued by a volunteer firefighter present at the swimming pool and by the lifeguards who had given her a cardiac massage.

But his state of health then deteriorated and the child was placed in a coma.
