A delegation from the Korean government has arrived in Washington DC to discuss the issue of excluding subsidies for Korean-made electric vehicles under the US Inflation Reduction Act.

The Korean government is engaged in an all-out diplomatic warfare to resolve this issue, with the head of the Trade and Negotiation Headquarters also visiting the United States next week.

This is to discuss the issue of exempting Korean electric vehicles from subsidies due to the US Inflation Reduction Act.

The delegation plans to focus on the fact that excluding Korean-made electric vehicles is unfair discrimination by limiting the 10 million won tax deduction under the Inflation Reduction Act to electric vehicles assembled in the United States. no see.

In particular, we believe that these measures are in violation of the Korea-US Free Trade Agreement and the World Trade Organization's trade principles, which treat foreign products on an equal basis with their own.
