Publishing and working on plans that contribute to serving the strategies approved by the Dubai Media Council, as well as providing consultations and studies on policies and work mechanisms and submitting recommendations to the Dubai Media Council.

The Publishing Consultative Council is responsible for submitting proposals and recommendations for developing the areas concerned with the publishing sector to the Dubai Media Council, reviewing the publishing policy and ensuring its alignment with the objectives and strategies of the emirate, providing advice on policies and work mechanisms, and submitting recommendations and reports to the Dubai Media Council.

The Publishing Consultative Council is also specialized in developing and adopting various policies from the Dubai Media Council, ensuring that they are in line with Dubai’s future directions and the national agenda of the country in general, and proposing plans and initiatives to raise the Emiratisation rate and attract national competencies and talents to work in the publishing sector and maintain distinguished cadres within the sector, and make comparisons International and regional best practices in the publishing sector and an economic and advertising feasibility study and sources of income for the sector, provided that the Publishing Advisory Board meets periodically and submits its reports and recommendations to the Dubai Media Council.
