A couple of hours after the shooting, the municipality's POSOM group was sent out to support the residents.

They were also on site on Saturday, but then in the company of other employees from the municipality.

Among other things, Mötesplats Årby and Open Preschool were open.

The meeting place is also open on Sunday.

- We have brought together employees who work in different ways here in Årby.

They are out in the area to be there for those who need to talk about what has happened, says Lisa Edholm, area and development manager at the municipality.

Many young people have witnessed the shooting

One of the employees who was there was Slava Fransi, a counselor at Årby School.

She tells SVT that many children and young people have come forward and talked to her and her colleagues because they are familiar faces from the school.

- Most of the people I have spoken to have witnessed the shooting.

They are afraid and many know the victim, she says.

In the clip, Lisa Edholm, area and development manager, talks about the municipality's employees wanting to stand up for the district.
