“We managed to obtain the necessary guarantees from the EU and, in this regard, reach an agreement on freedom of movement and Serbian documents.

With this, we managed to ensure peace and stability in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija and preserve Serbian documents in the southern region, both north and south of the Ibar,” Petkovic said.

He stressed that this is of decisive importance for the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija.

Earlier, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the European Union received guarantees from the prime minister of the self-proclaimed Kosovo, Albin Kurti, regarding the free movement of Kosovo Serbs across the borders on their identity cards.
