The pioneers of social networking in Egypt interacted with the hashtag "# Hold the Internet thief in Egypt", expressing their anger at the telecommunications companies that provide Internet service, and many of them complained about the poor service provided and its violation of what the companies advertise of unlimited Internet service.
Telecom companies that provide Internet services in Egypt announce offers that include the provision of unlimited Internet to users in exchange for certain sums of money, but when subscribing to this service, users are surprised that the Internet is limited according to what is known as the fair use policy.
In Egypt, there are 4 telecom companies that provide mobile phone and internet services, they are Telecom Egypt "WE", "Vodafone", "Orange" and Etisalat.
Tweeters were surprised by the poor service provided by some of these companies, while Egypt is one of the largest countries in the world through which submarine cables connecting the Internet pass.

The pioneers of the communication sites demanded the provision of unlimited internet service at prices that suit the Egyptians, similar to the rest of the world. Another boycott the companies until they respond to their demands.

One of the tweeters condemned the speed with which Internet packages expire, and said that many people use the Internet at work, and therefore it is a source of income for many families.
The Internet has opened many homes and we need it for a lot of work. It is not reasonable for one to renew the package 3 times a month. It is not reasonable, even when the package is finished, one cannot send a message on WhatsApp!!

This campaign comes about two months after a similar campaign launched by the pioneers of communication sites in Egypt last July on the hashtag "#Unlimited_Internet_in_Egypt", in which they demanded the cancellation of monthly packages on the home internet, the provision of unlimited service and the reliance of prices on speed only, in light of many complaints. Due to the high cost and the expiration of packages days before their due date, as well as the drop in internet speed to a low level.
