The court received a corresponding petition from the senior investigator of the 3rd department of the investigative unit for Moscow in relation to Roizman.
The court scheduled a hearing on this issue at 16:00 local time (14:00 Moscow time).
Earlier it was reported that Roizman was detained in a criminal case on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.
It also became known that he would be taken to Moscow for investigative actions.
According to the information of the capital's head office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he posted a video online that discredited the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the ex-mayor's lawyer Vladislav Idamzhapov, Roizman was detained for two days.
