Latin American tour The Spanish influence in America that vanished: from the splendors of 1992 to tearing down statues of Christopher Columbus
Colombia Petro places Pedro Sánchez under Bolívar after controversy with Felipe VI
"Charged batteries".
This is how Pedro Sánchez and his team respond when asked about their state of mind and how they face the new political course.
A start in which, however, the lack of harmony and understanding between the Government and the
PP
is confirmed .
A distance that was reflected again this Thursday in Congress, where the
popular
reject the energy saving decree promoted by the Council of Ministers.
In the Government there is a mixture of resignation, discomfort and incomprehension due to the vote against the
PP
.
"The news would be that the
PP
supported some government decree," says
Sánchez
ironically .
"It is a mistake not to support it," adds the Prime Minister.
In the Executive they emphasize that the
European Commission
and its president, who belongs to the political family of the
PP
, have congratulated Spain for its plan.
If at first there was a small light that could make
La Moncloa
believe that an understanding with Feijóo would be more feasible than with
Pablo Casado
, Sánchez already sentenced the Galician leader: "It's a change for the worse, and it was already difficult!" , has reflected in an informal conversation with journalists during the
Latin American tour
that is taking him to visit
Colombia
,
Ecuador
and
Honduras
.
"The PP contradicts itself"
Sánchez
's relationship
with
Casado
was complex.
But the extreme positions on many
popular
issues made it easier for the government to play the trick of moderation.
Now that cartel is vigorously disputed by
Feijóo
, but the result remains the same between
PP
and
Moncloa
: no agreements.
With
Casado
's management at least they reached agreements;
secrets, yes.
Agreements related to
the Judiciary
that
Feijóo
now disregards, which causes anger in the Government.
"The
PP
contradicts itself,"
Sánchez
synthesized during his conversation with journalists, trying to delve into the gap that has opened up in the
PP
between
Casado
's team and
Feijóo
's on account of the secret pact on the
Judiciary
.
Sánchez
and
Feijóo
began their relationship with a meeting in
La Moncloa
on April 7.
But since then the coexistence is cold, distant, of non-existent relationship.
The contact between the two is practically nil.
"The dialogue has to be bidirectional," demands
Sánchez
, who does not plan to call the leader of the
PP
.
Without understanding, with brawl, with the possibility of increasingly complex pacts and with constitutional bodies such as the
Judiciary
still blocked.
Thus begins the political course, with airs of the past.
