"Milik has arrived in Turin," Juventus announced by posting images of the player at the airport on Twitter.

According to the Italian media, Marseille and Juve have agreed on a one-season paying loan (1 million euros) with an option to buy EUR 7 million in one year.

Milik, 28, knows Serie A well having played in Naples for four and a half seasons (summer 2016-January 2021).

He left the image of an effective scorer (38 goals in 93 league games) despite two serious knee injuries and six months out of the squad before leaving for OM for refusing to extend his contract.

In Marseille, Milik took care of his statistics (20 goals last season in all competitions) but suffered from strained relations with coach Jorge Sampaoli.

The arrival on the bench of the Croatian Igor Tudor was not enough to make him stay in the Marseille club, where a heavyweight player in the person of the Chilean Alexis Sanchez arrived in attack.

With Milik (19 appearances in the Champions League, 8 goals scored), Juve are strengthening themselves with an experienced understudy for the young Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, 22, after losing in the off-season to Alvaro Morata (end of loan from Atletico Madrid).
