  Najib, who appeared in court in a suit and tie, rolled down a small window of his car and waved to supporters outside the court as he left the court at 4 pm.

After the "SRC International Case" was finalized, some Najib supporters held rallies to express their support for him and called for amnesty for Najib.

On the other hand, there are also Malaysians who have initiated a joint petition calling on the Malaysian Supreme State not to consider exercising amnesty for Najib.

After stepping down in 2018, Najib faced more than 40 charges, many of them related to the cases of 1MDB and its subsidiaries.

  In his 1MDB case, Najib faces 4 charges of abuse of power and bribery and 21 charges of money laundering, involving a total amount of 2.28 billion ringgit ($1 is about 4.47 ringgit) .

The Kuala Lumpur High Court has heard the case since August 2019 and last heard in June this year.
