In order to encourage the work of workers sent to the Donbass to restore local infrastructure, there is no need to introduce new statuses, Ostapkovich believes.

“As for the remuneration for work, I would agree with the idea of issuing an increased salary, but introducing the concept of “work in difficult conditions” is legally not very objective,” the expert said.

In his opinion, the issue of increasing the rate would really make sense for workers coming to Donbass due to the lack of comfortable conditions and distance from home.

“It seems to me that this is an excessive measure,” the specialist concluded.

Earlier, the Luhansk industrialist proposed equating employees of Russian enterprises sent to restore the industry and infrastructure of the LPR and DPR to those employed in difficult conditions.
