The MP believes that better protection is needed for the natural forests in Sweden and wants, for example, to put an end to large-scale clear-cutting.

- It is a destruction of nature which means that we cannot, for example, have recreation or biological diversity in the forest, says spokesperson Per Bolund in the debate on Swedish forest policy.

Ebba Busch believes that setting the figure 30 percent is completely the wrong way to go.

She says that it risks putting a wet blanket over Swedish forestry.

- The biggest threat to the Swedish forest is that the Environmental Party and the Center Party have pursued a policy for the past eight years that has made it more difficult for Sweden's over 300,000 foresters to own and use their forest, she says.

- For example, we have over-implemented EU rules and not fought for the Swedish conditions.
