According to him, Moscow expects that at least for the period of preparation of the visit of the IAEA staff to the object, the shelling will be stopped.

The diplomat also expressed hope for a speedy agreement on the details and logistics of the visit of the IAEA mission to the Zaporozhye NPP.

Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said on the Russia 24 TV channel earlier that the Russian side expected the visit of the IAEA commission to the facility no earlier than early September.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that the organization is consulting with all parties on the issue of sending an agency mission to the Zaporozhye NPP as soon as possible.
