  The 10 defendants in the case are Li Zhiying, former Next Media CEO Zhang Jianhong, former "Apple Daily" vice president Chen Peimin, former editor-in-chief Luo Weiguang, former executive editor-in-chief Lin Wenzong, former English edition executive editor-in-chief Feng Weiguang, former chief editor Yang Qingqi, Apple Daily Co., Ltd., Apple Daily Printing Co., Ltd., Apple Daily Internet Co., Ltd.

  The case was heard by three Hong Kong National Security Law-appointed judges, Du Libing, Li Sulan and Li Yunteng.
